Donation Policy
How gifts to GLIMT are received, used and acknowledged.

Tax status
Green Light International Mission Team Corp. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our determination letter is published on the Financial Reports page.
How gifts are used
Unrestricted gifts support our missions where the need is greatest: medication, dental, medical and vision supplies, equipment transport, school materials and local clinic support. Volunteers cover their own travel.
Designated gifts
If you designate a gift to a program or mission, we will honor that designation. If a designated purpose is fully funded or cannot be carried out, GLIMT may apply the gift where it is most needed.
Receipts
Zeffy emails a tax receipt for every online gift. Donors with a GLIMT account can also view their giving history and receipts on the website.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. If a gift was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review the request.
